Turning radical ideas into clear, compelling content
I'm Lorna, a writer and content strategist based in Berlin, working with mission-driven brands in wellness, advocacy, femtech, and culture.
For over a decade, I've worked across arts, nonprofits, publishing, and healthcare – and I've learned that:
The most important messages are usually the hardest to communicate.
When you're tackling taboo topics like health, pleasure, grief, or justice, you need more than generic content. You need words that make people feel safe enough to listen and informed enough to act.
I live in this space too!
I've searched for genuine information about health and wellness and found marketing fluff. I've watched important work get buried while sketchy messaging dominates.
I know that there’s a better way! So I help brands and organisations who are doing meaningful work communicate clearly – with editorial depth and strategic impact.
I bring a multidisciplinary approach
Strategic thinking, voice of customer research, cultural fluency in sensitive topics, and craft that doesn't talk down to your audience.
My background in literature and the arts means I approach brand messaging through narrative and storytelling – not just tactics.
I work with unapologetic brands and orgs
Wellness startups sharing life-changing information. Sex tech companies normalising pleasure. Advocacy organisations fighting for justice. Any brand refusing to water down their truth.
What makes me tick?
I moved to Berlin from London in 2018 and am still here – must be the lake swims, sauna culture, and pretty decent tofu!
When I'm not typing words, you'll find me having adventures with my rescue dog; diving in and out of many books; getting into my body by pole dancing (it’s my religion); daydreaming about living by the sea; pondering on how to stay soft but engaged in an apocalyptic world; or in conversation about everything from liberation to campy pop culture.
I've explored a lot in the wellness space: from breathwork, vegan skincare, and reiki to femtech innovations and sustainable period care. And I don’t balk at topics that make many people blush. I've seen enough to spot authentic brands versus those chasing controversy for clicks!
Whether it's real wellness, pleasure, or justice, the foundations are the same: safety, community, and genuine care.
